Terms and Conditions

 

1. Introduction

By making a reservation at La Luciole Bleue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The version applicable to your stay is the one in force at the time of booking and stated in your confirmation.

 

2. Definitions

  • Property: La Luciole Bleue, Hua Hin, Thailand.
  • Owner, We, Us: The legal owner/manager of La Luciole Bleue.
  • Guest, You: The person making the booking and all members of the booking party.
  • Official Website: La Luciole Bleue direct booking channels, including Beds24.
  • Booking Platform: Any third-party platform (e.g. OTA such as Agoda, Airbnb, Booking.com, …) used to make a reservation.
  • Direct Booking: Any booking processsed through the Official Website.

 

3. Booking and Payment

  • Full payment is due at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified at reservation.
  • If payment is not received within the stated timeframe (if any), the reservation may be cancelled without further notice.
  • Accepted payment methods and currency will be indicated at the time of booking.
  • All rates are as displayed at booking time and may include or exclude taxes/fees as specified in your confirmation.

 

4. Rates & Cancellation Policy

4.1 General

  • The cancellation policy applicable to your booking is the one selected at the time of reservation and shown in your confirmation.
  • All deadlines are based on local time at the Property (Hua Hin, Thailand, GMT+7).

4.2 Direct Bookings

Non-Refundable Rate:

  • No refund under any circumstances.
  • 100% of the total booking amount is charged for any cancellation, modification, or no-show.

Free Cancellation Rate:

  • Free cancellation up to 15 days before check-in date.
  • From 15 days to 48 hours before check-in: 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.
  • Less than 48 hours before check-in or no-show: 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.

No-shows and early departures are subject to 100% charge under the applicable policy.

 

5. Security Deposit

  • A security deposit may be required at the time of booking or upon check-in (amount and method will be specified in your confirmation or pre-arrival communication).
  • The deposit may be used to cover, including but not limited to:
    • Damage to the Property, furniture, decor, linens, or equipment.
    • Missing items.
    • Excessive cleaning.
    • Smoking in prohibited areas.
    • Unregistered guests or occupancy violations.
    • Early check-in, late check-out or breach of house rules.
  • The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out, via the original payment method where possible, provided no deductions are necessary.
  • If deductions are required, a summary and, where possible, supporting evidence (e.g. photos, invoices) will be provided.

 

6. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 15:00 onwards.
    • Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
    • Self check-in may be required; access instructions and codes will be provided. Do not share codes with third parties.
  • Check-out: By 11:00.
    • Late check-out is subject to prior approval and may incur additional charges.
  • At check-out, Guests must:
    • Close and lock all doors and windows.
    • Switch off lights, air-conditioning, and appliances.
    • Ensure the main door is properly closed behind you.
    • Ensure trash is taken out to the large garbage bin at the car park.
    • Please leave the house in a tidy condition at the end of your stay.
    • Kindly clean any items you have used in the kitchen (including dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils) including oven, microwave other appliances and barbecue.
  • If you require in-person assistance for check-in or check-out, please inform us in advance or contact us using the provided phone number.

 

7. Identification & Registration

  • The primary Guest must be at least 18 years old at check-in.
  • A valid government-issued ID or passport is required for all staying Guests as needed for verification and to comply with local legal/reporting requirements.

 

8. House Rules

Guests agree to comply with the following rules. Breaches may result in extra charges, partial/total loss of deposit, and/or immediate eviction without refund.

  • No illegal activities of any kind on the Property.
  • No narcotics (including those allowed in Thailand) or illegal substances permitted.
  • No pets allowed on the Property.
  • No parties or events are permitted.
  • No unregistered overnight guests; all guests staying overnight must be declared at booking or check-in.
  • Smoking & Vaping:
    • Strictly prohibited inside the house.
    • Permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
    • Use ashtrays and dispose of cigarette ends properly; do not bring them inside.
    • A cleaning/ozone fee may apply for violations.
  • Noise:
    • Respect neighbours at all times.
    • Outdoor quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00; avoid loud noise, music or disturbances, especially after 22:00.
  • Pool Safety:
    • Use of the pool is at your own risk.
    • No running around the pool and no diving or jumping, especially when surfaces are wet.
    • It is strictly forbidden to jump from the second floor, terrace, or any elevated structure.
    • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • CCTV & Equipment:
    • Do not tamper with or obstruct CCTV cameras.
    • Do not tamper with smoke detectors, safety devices, or electrical installations.
  • Toilets:
    • Do not dispose of wipes, sanitary products, or any non-soluble items in the toilets. Use the bins provided.
  • Property Care:
    • Treat the Property and its contents with care and respect.
    • Leave the Property in a generally tidy state similar to arrival.
    • Only items explicitly marked as gifts may be taken; all other items remain Property of the Owner.
  • Chandeliers & Decor:
    • Do not pull, hang, or attach any item to chandeliers or fragile fixtures. This may cause damage or injury.

 

9. Occupancy & Visitors

  • Occupancy, as stated in your booking confirmation, must not be exceeded, including children.
  • No extra beds or additional sleeping arrangements will be provided beyond the stated capacity.
  • Day visitors:
    • May be allowed subject to prior approval.
    • Must not cause overcrowding, nuisance, or breaches of quiet hours.
  • Unregistered overnight guests or exceeding occupancy may lead to extra charges and/or eviction without refund.

 

10. Liability & Safety

  • Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety and supervision of their children and companions.
  • The Owner is not liable for:
    • Accidents, injuries, or illnesses occurring on the Property or during use of facilities.
    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable Thai law.

Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable travel insurance.

 

11. Access to the Property

The Owner or authorised personnel may enter the Property:

  • With reasonable notice for cleaning, maintenance, or inspection.
  • Without prior notice in case of emergency, suspected serious rule violation, or safety/security concern.

 

12. Extra Charges

Extra charges may apply, including but not limited to:

  • Early check-in or late check-out without prior approval.
  • Lost keys, remotes, or access devices.
  • Smoking or vaping in non-designated areas.
  • Excessive cleaning required beyond normal use.
  • Damage to furniture, equipment, decor, linens, or structure.
  • Missing items from the Property.
  • Unregistered overnight guests or exceeding maximum occupancy.
  • Tampering with smoke detectors, CCTV, routers, or safety equipment.

Such charges may be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the payment method on file.

 

13. Data Protection & Privacy

We collect and process personal data (e.g. identification details, contact information, booking information) for:

  • Managing reservations and payments.
  • Legal and regulatory compliance (including immigration or local reporting obligations).
  • Security and legitimate business purposes.
  • Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable Thai data protection laws (including the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA)).
  • A detailed Privacy Notice may be provided and forms part of these Terms where applicable.

 

14. CCTV

CCTV cameras are installed in external/common areas only (e.g. facing car park and garden) for:

  • Safety and security of Guests and the Property.
  • Prevention and investigation of incidents.
  • No CCTV is installed in bedrooms, bathrooms, or other private interior areas.
  • Footage is retained for a limited period, unless required longer for security, incident handling, or legal purposes, and is processed in line with applicable data protection laws.

 

15. Force Majeure

The Owner is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, utility failures, or other extraordinary events.
  • In such cases, we will, where reasonable, work with you on alternative dates or solutions in line with the then-applicable policy, but refunds are not guaranteed beyond legal requirements.

 

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with your stay are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
  • Unless otherwise required by mandatory law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Thailand.

 

17. Amendments

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • The Terms applicable to your booking are those in force at the time of reservation, as referenced in your confirmation.

 

18. Acceptance

By making a reservation and/or checking in at La Luciole Bleue, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, cancellation of your reservation, or eviction without refund.
